| Heck I had a 302 in my '83 and it was really a fun truck to play with.
I do hope to God that you are not going to try to pull that big trailer with a small truck.
A couple of years ago a neighbor sold two JD 730 diesels, one was a high crop. The buyers drove hundreds of miles with a 3/4 ton Ford and a long bumper hitch trailer. They loaded up the tractors and made it about a mile down a flat and smooth highway with nice shoulders before the trailer steered the pickup right into the ditch and rolled them onto their sides.
At least they crashed before they hurt or killed anyone.
Had to rent a car to get home, totaled the Ford, and had to get the trailer and tractors onto a semi flat bed later and shipped home that way.
Those rear tires on the Ranger are not even close to being weight rated to drop the empty gooseneck on it....... | |
