Southeast Colorado | We have both and think they are about impossible to beat. The capacity is phenomenal for a sickle head. I always wish they had made the reel lift somehow since I've noticed that feature on competitive machines, but we deal with it. Not so much for in field use but when working on the sickle it sure gets in your way. We try pretty hard to keep the guards replaced and the sickle pretty new to help keep everything tight. If you let that stuff wear too much then you will have problems. I'm amazed how well they cut green stems but those sickles are moving so fast that everything needs to be clicking just right. | |
