SW Ohio | I have a half angus half holstein nurse cow that I have breed to our herd bull the last couple year. Last year she threw a solid black calf from our black angus bull and still waiting on this years from the same bull. She is a solid bodied cow and keeps condition with just a little grain. I would definitely keep a heifer out of her and would love a calf with some fun coloring. We feed our own out so no docking at sale barn. Will AI her next time around.
What would you use?? Open to any breed! Have a specific bull in mind?
