Our fall tillage program is similiar to yours. Soybean stubble is ripped with a DMI 730B or a Unverferth straight legged ripper with minnimum till shanks. Corn going back to corn as well as cornstalks that have lime applied to them are hit with the 730B. Beans are no-tilled into cornstalks other than the ones where lime was applied. Last couple years we have left some of the stalks alone where we applied lime and really haven't seen much of a difference in the beans. As far as corn yields we arn't seeing a great of difference in yields as you but enough of an increase to more than offset any expenses incurred
An added benift we have seen where we run the 730 vs the Unverferth is a large reduction in winter annuals.
