| Do you guys really know how accurate seed counts are? You can take 5 samples from the same 50lb bag and get a range of over 300 seeds per lb. Unless beans are graded seed counts will never be accurate. If you think buying them buy the 130,000 or 150,000 is more accurate you are kidding your self. Becks takes their sample just like anyone else, then they figure out how many lbs they need to put into a bag to get 130K. Small seed needs to go in smaller bags, large seed in larger bags. Now they have to stock multiple size bags which costs more money. Until beans are graded no matter how they are sold the counts will always have variablity. So those 130,000 count bags may make you feel better when you buy them they are not making you a dime. | |
