| After struggling with weed control, chinch bugs, lodging and other things that come along with growing grain sorghum, I have decieded I am going to try some dryland corn next year. I was wanting some input on corn hybrids that can produce a consistant yield even in higher stress situations. My yield goal is 70-120bu/acre. It would have to be RR corn. Are there any seed companies that have better traits when it comes to drought tolerant corn? I would like to go with pioneer, but would consider any seed company. I have been looking at hybrid trait information online, but there are soo many hybrids I don't know how to choose. I would just like to know some hybrid numbers that have been working for farmers around this area, or any other information on this subject. Thanks | |
