| He is thinking if he sells it soon he does not want to sell it with a bad crop standing/harvested off of it. He does not understand that it will bring the same price regardless of the last crop. I've seen guys wiped out by floods and people stand there at auction badmouthing him for being a bad farmer. Just can't wait to get their hands on the ground because they are better farmers than him. Then it rains on them. (:
It is also his little piece of the World and he wants to control it as long as he can.
I am surprised if it is not written into the Will. Few around here trying to control things beyond the grave.
