Eastern Ontario

Beans look like a record crop so far. Very tall and starting to lean. A big rainstorm will bring them down. Have found some white mold in neighbours field. If rains come and beans go down, I suspect we'll see alot more mold.  Recent rains have flooded some fields and time will tell if beans pull through.

Corn on the other hand looks excellent in areas of lighter soil, and dramatically worse in heavier ground. Spring rains have crusted fields and seedlings had a hard time to break through. Not sure if some of the later planted stuff will make it to maturity before the frost. There will be some 200 bu corn around, but there will also be some 100 bu or less.

Wheat is coming off anywhere between 1 and 2 tons / acre.
