| I think its a good thing that we've gone ahead and developed the ethanol industry across the cornbelt and a few other places as well. Instead of trying to raise corn and give it away because the cost of transportation has gone thru the roof, now we can haul it a short distance and make ethanol and DDGs out of it. The distillers grains can help the livestock industry. The fundamentals of a lot of things are going to be changed if oil costs continue to escalate. The U.S. is forecasted to use more oil in the future. Perhaps those who pooh pooh ethanol can explain why China won't simply outbid us for oil. | |
