West Michigan | 25R47 is the main number we will plant here in Michigan. The main drawback od R47 is the tst wt is not the best. Cedar has been popular around here the last few years but we had rust blow in and the cedar got rocked hard with it. Had R47 right next to cedar and the R47 had no rust. The cedar started to lay down real bad at the end of harvest as well. There will be very little cedar planted around here this fall. Best field of R47 went 116bu. that will get me planting more of it.
