Martinsville, Ohio | No kidding Solly, you hit that one on the head. We are blessed with good rains here in the Ohio Valley this year and feel for those who don't have them. We had ours last summer with 8 inches total moisture in the 05 growing season which really told on our yields.
I have chest high beans that started to lay down in the 1.3 inches we received two days ago....
Would have gladly shared with others so we could have gotten a little more last summer...
Aerial application is slim in Ohio with the huge population of people who don't like things falling from airplanes anymore, they don't understand agriculture...
$7.75 per acre was our price here last week to fly on fungicide/insecticide...
Heard $7 range in states west of here...
