Riviersonderend South Africa | Had very good rains in the South Western parts of South Africa after a very dry June we had 140 mm from middle July to the first week of August.
It is a winter rainfall area were winter cereals are produce and were 90% of South Africa malting barley is produce.
The soil is soaking wet and the crop dusters are having a field day with the areoplanes as the farmers can do no spraying with the tractor sprayers,aero spray cost about $11.50/hectare.
Thankful for the good rain and it is the best medicine available for a farmer.
