Uncle renting from Grandma for $70/acre

I rented ground for years below market. First from Mom and Dad, then Mom only. Dad said the day would come when they would need some one near. They did not need the cash. Dad died in his 60's. I raised rent over time- but still below market. Both my brother and sister were aware of the numbers. They said the set up was fine with them (in fact they even tried to give some back) as I was the one who daily helped my Mother.

The short of this is- their are many factos which make up fairness in a relationship. Does she need the cash, does she get extra help,etc? I also notice you never mention the other kids- esp, your mom or dad. My sense of this from what you said is, it is none of your business and you need to stay out of it.

Just my humble opinion. You asked.
