North of Remsen 2.5" rain. Field damage wasn't as bad as shown by Brunsville. We have one field with a steep west facing slope, looks pretty bad from 1/4 mile away.

The real miracle:  1/3 of a 30 year old maple dropped RIGHT North of the house.  Not a scratch on the house or the van sitting out front.  Would have crushed anything or anyone in it's way.  House corner is my youngest girls bedroom.  (Of course, we had them playing in the basement anyway).  If it had dropped 5 degrees South, easily a $20,000 problem, plus lots of damage from the water.
