yes, that is us. Second year we have grown it. I tell you what, it was by far the best wheat i have ever harvested in my life. it was on pickle ground, no tilled, never looked very good all spring. we even talked about working some up. actually did work some up in another field. was mostly a problem of not enough down pressure on the drill in the fall. we had too much seed laying on top that didnt germinate until later causing a really uneven stand. anyway, when i hit it with the combine the yield monitor was up and down, up to 150 down to 80 in the spots where it was too thin. it ended up averaging(whole field across a scale) 114 dry.
now the sad part, there wont be enough seed to go around. part of ours was rouged by msu and taken for breeeder seed, and mich crop improvement thinks they want the rest. not sure if we will have any or not. give me a call in about 2 weeks and i will know better then
