Subject: Alfalfa in Kentucky

I'm looking at possibly expanding our current small cow-calf operation into some hay production for sale. I have been doing some looking into raising alfalfa or commerical mixed grass hay. Can anyone give me some advise on startup costs, what brand of seed, generalized ground prep, ect?
