Subject: Lamberton Strip Tillage Days

Anyone go to Lamberton, MN today for U of M's Strip Tillage demo days?

I thought it was informational and great to have 10 of the 17 strip tillage mfg's there with equipment.

The crowd was good, as I think people are realizing that strip tillage is one of the ways of the future without going NO-Till.

I thought the best illustration was the guy who shared that Strip Tillage is not even close to NO-till. No-till is kinda of a scary word to many farmers. However, strip tillage is still conventional tillage of your farm, but only in the 8-10" of where seed/fertilizer placement is done. Reducing fuel/passess/hp requirements on your farm....

Hope everyone learned something.
