Brazilton KS | Looking at this as a farmer here, ignoring all the other types of people who are buying land these days for who-knows-what purpose, what land clearing could you do which is not directly related to production? Brush doesn't provide much for grazing. Brush doesn't go through a combine very well. Brush doesn't make very good hay. Brush doesn't hold soil very well in a waterway, nor does it allow proper drainage to occur. Brush does diminish yields drastically when it is adjacent to crops. I'm having a hard time figuring out where a farmer could clear brush and have it not be involved in production.
