Southeast MN | This was my second season with precision planting parts in my 7000. I put in the finger, backup plate and brush. The tube and belt weren't available at the time. I did the whole planter so I can't comment if they're better than new JD parts. Many around "here" use kinze parts when rebuilding rather than JD.
I like the precion meters; the units are always within 200 seeds per acre on the monitor and it doesn't vary more than 1k when on c and d slopes. The old ones would vary about 8k on the slopes. (Left hand on down hill side vs. right on downhill on return pass.) | |
