| Here in West/Northwest Central Illinois, our crops are really taking it on the chin with the lack of rain and high temps. However, I think that we are in a small area because if you go 30 miles in any direction, the crops get much better. Also, even in this county, there are areas that have received rain and I think average or above average yeilds can still easily be attatined. All in all, I think the Midwest has a large crop coming this fall, and this is coming from someone whose corn has been rolling for the last week in the middle of pollination. | |
