Subject: Spraying giant ragweed in RR corn

I have giant ragweed in RR corn. The corn has brown silks, just turned brown, but won't dent until after the weeds get too big and have hurt the corn. The ragweeds (horseweeds) are tall and spinnly right now and would be easy for 2-4D to kill, but will it hurt the corn? I am afraid the I would not get good weed coverage by spraying roundup with drops into tall corn while 2-4D does not need good coverage to kill weeds. Does anyone have any experience? I can see RR corn needs a residual when you sray the roundup.
