SW KS, near Dodge City | You seem to have about 80 different ways that you're attacking the weed problem, but I was wondering if you still rogue the row crops? I'm not sure what the cost is, but I have an uncle that's an organic grower and he seems to have a roguing crew in about every year, or at least every other year. One year he had fairly light weed pressure and it was only something like $7/acre. Have you explored roguing as an option, or is it so expensive that it's not worth the hassle? I know with the added value of the crops you can sometimes afford to put more $$$ into roguing than other folks, but I was wondering if its dollars or lack of crews that creates this.
Man, I can remember as a kid that I always got the hoe with the broken handle b/c I was the youngest. I still hate soybeans... Sure do like the sprayer though:)
Thanks,
