Pittsburg, Kansas | Corn kind of shuts down and just survives at anything above 90 but if the high is 95 there are still usually several hours in the morning and late afternood when the corn will grow. When it really just burns up is with 100 degree days with 85-90 at night, low humidity and high winds. We get those conditions here in SE Ks every so often but fortunately not in the last 10 or 15 years - we are over due and I am sure not looking forward to it when it comes. Corn just kind of "cures" standing up kind of like cut hay in the windrow does. John
