nw pa | Maybe in your area of the country that is the way it is. Around here last spring the deal for new customers was buy a planter full get a planter full. All were considered to be at least 12 row. For all older customers the deal was after you had bought as much as previous year it was buy one get one free. The dealers were quite liberal on how they wrote up your order. The newest varieties were not in the mix.
Whoever you are talking to is feeding you a line and can supply the paper work to prove it. Unless you consider none of the above a big deal on seed. In that case you would be right. Thank goodness you aren't my dealer. And it's probably not your fault,most of the bad decisions I have ever gotten from Pioneer has been from the DSM.
