Urbandale Ia, (but originally from SE IA) | I used to plant some Bo-Jac corn, DSM was a real nice guy, good service, and I liked the company. (stuck to their guns and did not carry the Monsanto Bt events).
Anyway, the DSM took a job with Crows. I guess he thought it was an opportunity for advancement, didn't bad-mouth Bo-Jac after the move. He continued to call on me and I planted some Crows for a couple of years.
I had some seed on order when they were bought up. Told him I would plant what I'd ordered, but after that....no more. I felt kind of bad about it, because I really liked the guy. He kind of bristled up over my comments, but I said hey, that's the rules I laid down, and I wasn't going to compromise. Told him he was welcome to stop by again if he ever changed companies. |
