| I put N on with a spinner every year and sometimes the spinner is right in the corn leaves but still manages to get good coverage. In a perfect world it is nice to put it on @ the 8th leaf stage but last year it was held off by a 7 inch rainfall and the corn was @ 10 leaf by the time I got in. It actually worked in my favour 'cause all of the other lads that were out early likely lost a lot of the N and I wound up beating a number of the neighbours in yield. I would attribute it almost directly to spinning on the N late... | |
