I have heard the same 20 bu/acre increase as well, but that just seemed a bit optimistic to me. Agrigold Hybrids are also doing a promotion of Headline used on their hybrids, I believe they are offering a hefty discount on a 40 acre trial of Headline. Lastly, talk is that the hybrids do not necessarily have to show or be largely succeptible to disease to warrant the fungicide; the yield increase will almost always at least pay for the product and application, and more often than not show an economic benenfit. Fungicides and late season nitrogen may get us to the next yield plateau.
