| I've got a neighbor that has planted corn in 15" rows for several years and harvests with a 30" row head. He says the only problem is slowing down to allow the corn to be pulled into the head. And, short varieties do not work as taller varieties, since they don't pull over as well. Driving by his fields, you wouldn't know that it was harvested with a 30" head. Most of his corn has been white corn. | |
