I can show you pics on our farm just the opposite. No-till is a weed patch and the beans are 1 trifoliate behind the worked fields. Also got to replant the notills that were planted the day before the conventional tilled beans. In our area the only way notill works is 3 trips of roundup, one burn down, one after the crop has emerged and one prior to canopy(15" rows) or you have to add some type of residual at $10/@ and cross your fingers. Finally the other posts about annuals is true. We have been burning down early then one pass tillage to elimanate the new flush then plant. When you add all the dollars up in the end it is about a wash to pay for the extra fuel/equipment or you chem saleman/custom applicator and in our case we almost always see higher yields in the wroked fields and less disease pressure. Goes to show you do wah tworks for you and if you can make it pay by all means go for it because it sure seems to be an awfully quick way to plant beans.
