Boone, Iowa | We ran a 4366 as our "big" tractor for years. It was noisy, no frills tractor. We installed an intercooler, soon after we brought it home. Over the years, we had to put an update kit in the transfer box, install a couple of engine clutches and rebuild the engine. We pulled a 42 ft Wil-Rich field cultivator, 27 ft IH 490 disk and a Glenco soil saver chisel plow. For a while we also had a 4386, which was night and day difference in the cabs. The best thing I did was to add a Bosch P pump set at 230 hp and 3LM466 turbo to the 4386. All of the years we had these two tractors around, did not have any axle problems. | |
