Martinsville, Ohio | New lots of seed can have poor vigor. Seed lots were tested to the max this spring with the terrible growing conditions many of us have experienced.
It could be an older seed lot or something that interfered with its condition. Hope you have talked to your seedsman first.
That hybrid is a little weak on seedling vigor to start with but really cranks at the end if you get it all up and the weather is conducive to making grain.
Same game we are all trying to figure out.
