Driftless SW Wisconsin
I've had several calls recently from customers (and a neighbor or two) who have said the corn they spring strip tilled with our Dawn Pluribus units into corn and bean stubble looks great. A couple guys have said they may go continuous corn in this system.

This year the row clearing AHEAD of the planter in N IA, MN, the Dakotas and WI and the banding of fertilizer really paid off with the cool wet weather. It looks to me like the warmth of that worked fertilized strip was especially useful this year in the northern corn belt. Strips may work for different reasons in the north vs ILL.

I did a bit of an inadvertent test myself. On some hillside strips I was not a very good driver and where the planter was not on the strip both the the corn AND the beans did not emerge nearly as well as where I was on the strip. jmho.
