I have done this to areas that I could not inject anhydrous amonia. I had drops with hoses that touched the ground on 30 inch centers between the rows. I had a limited area, so I tried to time it so rain was close. Worked just fine. I just used 28% with no water and put on enough to get the amount of N I wanted. Best luck will be if the corn is big enough to shade the row middles.
