Jake, I hope by now you have done something about that cutworm. I was told that each worm will eat 3-4 plants per night. here are some pictures from 2 years ago when cutworm infested 300 acres of my corn. Was spreading Am.Sulfate at the time and thought that the plants turning brown were burn from the fertilizer untill I took a closer look. This happened on a weekend so I wasn't able to get the product ( Matador ) until Monday. Could only spray in the morning or at night, so didn't spray until Monday night.  When everything was done the field looked like this ( picture below ) in just a few short days. I know you're organic, and I'm leaning towards doing things your way, so It would be interesting to know what you used and how it worked.
