Dutch wasn't the only one.
We had two of the three 8.1 l engines we own fail due to piston problems. Both under 2500 hrs.
Rebuilt the 9510 and still own it.
Traded the 8110 and are now running a 9 l.
I hope we have good luck. (But we have the extended warranty).
