I've now farmed longer on my own than I got to farm with my Dad. 

He passed right around the time Ag Talk was started. 

The Ag Talk community has been a great resource to fill in the gaps, ask questions and get advice when I was unsure of myself or plain needed some advice. 

Hopefully through all these years some of what I have posted has helped someone out in the same way. 

The collective knowledge base and experiences of all involved here still remains the most powerful thing I have ever been part of.
