I contemplated keeping back a little machinery and farming a little on the side when we retired. Decided against it and glad I didn't. I did keep a couple of small play tractors, bush hogs and my chain saws that keep me all the keeping busy I want. I think the important thing when a guy finally hangs it up is to have something worthwhile to occupy his time. Sitting in a rocking chair doesn't cut it.
Anybody ever experience an end of harvest moment.
