I live in an area with few tar and rough roads I'm always amazed how little I need 4wd even in winter. I bought an older 2wd that I drive a lot. The state not having 4wd is a turnoff but typically EVs have a really good torque distribution system so you wouldn't spin out on both rear wheels.
