I broke out my live trap last February, since then I have caught 18 possums, 6 raccoons, 3 skunks , 4 cats.
I live in farm country with few trees except house/building farmsteads.
Makes me wonder how many varmints are there that should be controlled somehow.
Not much trapping around here that I know of. Remember when there were bounties for certain species, sparrows, fox, ect.
Farming practices get blamed for lack of pheasants, but think nest raiders could be a bigger problem.
Just amazed at the number of critters I have caught this year so far.
Thanks Brian
