Denmark | When I lived in Cal. early 1960´ies I drove across the US coast to coast 3 times and visited 30+ states.
The people I met were friendly and helpful, be it in stores, motels on farms, whereever. And people were easy and interesting to have conversations with.
I got a good and lasting impression of the American people, and I refuse to think that can have changed much.
I tend to think the media today mostly reports of trouble and extremes. Because that is what sell the papers. | |
