| My plan was to retire from the factory job and farm in the spring and fall and do whatever I wanted during the summer and winter.Three different medical issues hit me within a few years and minor problems that would have taken an hour to deal with started taking all day ,,or two. Between arthritis and heart issues I simply can't go and do the things I put off while working 80 hour weeks at two jobs. I will never sell anything myself,,,but there are days just having a simple house somewhere with someone to do the lawn work doesn't sound bad. A neighbor started going to Arizona in their 60s for a few weeks, then a month, then the whole winter,,, they ended selling off the building site to a tenant and are happy with a small house in town for when they come back and a sinple home in a retirement village where they prefer to spend 3/4 of their time. They have to be worth at least 10 million but simply don't want headaches.
Sometimes you own the farm and sometimes it owns you
