SE Georgia | Im at a different point in my life so my perspective may be different, but I would try renting it out,or sharecropping it for a year or two.I would definitly travel and do whatver you wanted to do right now,but you might get tired of taking it easy and want to be involved in the farm again.Money really doesnt matter as long as you have enough to enjoy slowing down some.I would think after a couple of months I would want to come and smell the dirt. For me farming is not so much what I do but who I am,and transitioning to something else would be hard for me I think.I hope you make the choice that makes you happy.
Best of luck,Will | |
