middle Georgia | I have a friend in town that had 20 to 30 trees cut down in his yard. Long story short the tree company didn't get rid of the stumps. He got a old rear tractor rim places it over the stump and burns limbs and leaves, anything that will burn clean. Once it gets hot it will burn the stump out. When it burns out he moves it to another stump. It has taken several years but he has burned probably 90% of them out. Fills them with dirt and mulch when finished. The city would not let him burn stumps but was OK with him burning limbs and leaves. Go figure. | |
