Right idea, wrong tool. A small centrifugal blower is what you want, hooked to a 3" or so duct or pipe and blowing into the fire. Even a small fan with a slightly larger duct will work fine. A leaf blower will help blow the ashes out when it's died down, then the coals will burn the existing wood more effectively. |
