Sounds like your drive belt is slipping. I believe there are 3 belts listed in the parts book.
, depending on the size of your drive pulley.
Could be your spring loaded belt tightner is froze up and not working properly.
Looked at our head when I got to the farm.We have 12inch drive pulley and use a 202647 belt.
If your belt is too long your sickle will stall when going thru swales.
