| We have a Swinger 110v hopper mover on a Brandt 13” auger. Last night whenever trying to move the hopper it would blow the breaker. Moved to another outlet and did the same thing. Tried it this morning & now will only move one way.
Not much info on the net for diagnosing the issue. Basically either the controller or the motor.
On plug from controller to motor there’s a 6 pin connector, with one pin blank. Using a multimeter I was able to trace what wires feed each pin. 5th pin I dont get any continuity.
Figure this is the issue.
Old farmer, halfarsed electrician. Any ideas where else to look? Pulled the plate on side of motor, everything looked fine. Amy suggestions as where else to look?
