Subject: Grain bin setup

I’ve got a neighbor that’s sold out and has some small grain bins. (7,000bu) I’m looking for a cheap setup so I’ve come up with a plan and I’d like to get your opinions. I’d like to set up these small bins as my drying bins (he’s got 10 of them)using natural air dry. I live here in California and we have lots of free dry air through October. My harvest window would be August to mid October. I’d hook them up to a line of larger bins (50,000bu) for the real storage. Id put a double run grain pump on the top of those smaller bins and a paddle sweep through the center of them for cleanout. Then to a grain leg for the bigger bins. As of now I only need 100k storage setup but I want to set it up for growth. My harvest percentages would be around 20-24 percent and storage percent would be around 14. So I’d have to knock off 10 points. What’s everyone’s thoughts?
