We put in a 12inch grain pump, double 650 bushel Lowry dump pits, and new wet bin ( 9 ring 48 foot diameter/55,000 bushels) in 2024. We have been very happy with the set up. Last year the corn was high moisture 25 percent plus and capacity on the grain pump was a bit slower. The first year the corn was under 20 percent and we could consistently unload 8500 bushels an hour. The pump was rated at 10,000 bushels an hour and I was not sure how accurate it would be in real life conditions.

Did you do any comparison on cost of the 12" grain pump versus a leg of similar capacity to fill the wet bin before deciding to go with the grain pump? Looks like a high throughput setup.
