For a couple of weeks, all I've heard from the "experts" is that Joe Burrow has to play from under center more instead of in the shotgun so much
Well, in the first half today, he lined up under center over 50% of the time against Baltimore.
At halftime, the score is Baltimore 13, Bengals 0.
In the second half, Burrow did what he does: went back in the shotgun, threw the ball, and let Chase Brown and Tee Higgins catch the football and score.
Game ended: Bengals 35, Baltimore 13.
What got me was the TV announcers, "The Exerts," who are now saying: Yes, when you have those Ferraris in the garage (referring to Burrow, Brown, Higgen, and Chase) you don't let them sit. After saying all week they needed to let them sit!
All week long, hearing about how Joe should play from under center more, I was thinking the Bengals offense isn't the problem! They have always been able to score. |
