Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | Hi John!
I second what Kelly said.
I have a 324P Highlift wheel loader I use at the cattle farm, and the dealership has a bigger one. The 324 has a skidsteer hookup, and is wonderful. I would not want a larger loader with skidsteer hookup though. Bigger ones are just too powerful for the way skidsteer hookups are engineered. You need to go to a JRB style coupler if you go with a bigger loader to handle the stress.
The little 324 wheel loader get used more than the skidsteers now. Just so much easier for this guy to get in and out. Plus you can see so much better, steering wheel is smooth, and driving around so much faster and smoother. I love our track skidsteers, but the wheel loader is so much better to sit in and use.
The 324P with the 4 wheel steer and the high lift option is to me the handset all around size for what we do. Easy to haul, easy to store inside, lifts really high and has lots of reach, like across a trailer, plus all the advantages as stated above.
You are thinking right about getting one for a second loader.
